At Connect today in
Fleckney Village Hall, we were thinking about water.
First we made a collage about the bible story of Jesus
walking on water, by blow painting the water, (very
messy, but fun).
Steve then tested our knowledge of water and the role it
plays in our world. Did we know that if the sun was 5%
nearer or further from the sun we would have no liquid
water?
Steve then showed us
a glass of dirty water and asked if we would drink it,
(no way). Then he took off his socks and filtered the
water, it was still cloudy but Steve drank it, urghh.
Next we watched a
DVD about children in other countries who had to drink
dirty water all the time, and the effects it had on
their lives.
After a few songs,
Mick and Steve took us outside to play games involving
water, and then the highlight of the afternoon...COULD
WE REALLY WALK ON WATER? |
