Fleckney New
Life Christian Fellowship is a non-denominational church
which has been established in the Market Harborough
district since
1995. We are a member
of the
Evangelical Alliance,
and maintain close links to the
Ichthus
fellowship of churches.
Our meetings
are held on a Sunday morning at Fleckney Village Hall at
10.30am. They are an informal style of meeting with a
lively all-age atmosphere. We use a mix of music, drama,
dance,
puppets
and multi media to worship God and learn more about him
from the bible. During part of the service children and
youth participate in their own classes.
We are a group of
people committed to God, to one another and to serving
God in our local community. Our vision is to:
Through this, we hope
to see His kingdom established in Fleckney and the
surrounding area.
We believe our vision
fulfils Jesus’ Commandment in John 15 v 12:
My command is
this: Love each other as I have loved you.
And also His
commission in Matthew 28 19-20:
Therefore go and
make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the
name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, and
teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.
And surely
I am with you always to the very end of the
age.
This is summed up in
our Mission Statement:
Touching the Heart of
God,
Reaching the Hearts
of People.
The
Fleckney NLCF leadership team
is the heart and soul
of the church. It consists of a leadership team who are in
charge of the spiritual wellbeing of the church, as well
as a number of trustees who handle administrative and
practical issues. |
